A lot has been happening these past several days in the heavy music scene, so instead of doing a hundred individual posts we’re just going to sum up some of the highlights from this week. Let us know what you’re most stoked on or what caught you most by surprise!
Ben Bruce of Asking Alexandria responded to ex-frontman Danny Worsnop‘s comments about how the band supposedly lost their artistic integrity in a hilariously accurate retort about how Worsnop is an Englishman now masquerading as a country star singing in an American accent. Watch the clip at Loudwire. The feud continues…
Asking Alexandria also released a music video for their new song “Here I Am” off their latest record, The Black.
Chiodos dropped a surprise demo track (affectionately titled “Gummy Bears”) that was amongst the first songs written for their reunion record Devil, but when Craig Owens commented on the matter he said that it dropped without his knowledge and that the band are currently on hiatus.
I See Stars are getting fans ready for their upcoming release, Treehouse, which is set to be released via Sumerian Records on June 17th. The band have shared a music video for new track “Break” and an awesome Google Earth-type lyric video for “Running With Scissors.” Because we live in the future. Pre-order the record here.
