If, like us, you were wondering where Cane Hill have been, they’ve finally given us the answer — and it’s probably not what you expected:
Patent Pending’s cover mashup, “Wasted/Wake Me Up,” is one to add to your summer jams playlist. It’s not heavy, but it sure is fun to listen to and to watch. The music video is imaginative and playful and even runs in reverse. If you’re feeling like you need a pick me up, check out this music video!
Make Them Suffer are truly incredible songwriters and “Fireworks” proves that point. The song, off the band’s new record Worlds Apart which comes out July 28 on Rise Records, masterfully blends heavy vocals and eerie guitars with beautiful melodies. This leads to a sense of calm and acceptance while at the same time revealing a type of suffering.
UK metal band While She Sleeps broke out big time when they released their 2015 full-length, Brainwashed. By the sound of their recently released music videos for new album You Are We – due out April 27th via Sharptone Records – WSS are about to get even bigger. The band’s newest single, “Silence Speaks,” carries the band’s heartfelt yet extremely aggressive style to new peaks. It also features Oli Sykes of Bring Me The Horizon, which is arguably the best thing Sykes has done for metal since Sempiternal. Check out the new music video for this roaring single and don’t forget to check out some of the band’s other videos from their upcoming album, You Are We.

If you’re a sucker (like we are) for horror, screamo and punk, you’ve got to check out One Last Shot. The Syracuse, NY band have just released a gothic styled music video for their brand new single, “Leather & Fangs.” The song comes to you off of their upcoming full-length, The Death of a Poet & All of His Friends, which is to be released on March 31st, 2017. If you’re nostalgic for the glory days of screamo, when watching “Steven’s Untitled Rock Show” on FUSE was an everyday ritual and the band Aiden was taking over, you’re guaranteed to have fun with One Last Shot.
From their record Lionheart comes Hollow Bones‘s music video for the track “I Watched the Snow Fall and Bury Your Bones.” The New York melodic hardcore band use stark silhouettes overlayed with a snowy forest for this atmospheric song. In a track-by-track of the record that the band did with us, the members revealed that not only is it one of their absolute favorite tracks on the record, but the title also comes from the extremely popular Game Of Thrones.
We The Wild, an eclectic post-hardcore band from Portland, OR, released a new video for their single “Ol’ Boy” off their upcoming record From The Cities We Fled just a few weeks ago and we got to chat with them about it! The track has tons of energy and truly offers a unique sound, so watch the video and check out the brief Q&A with vocalist Ben Cline and guitarist and vocalist Miles Davenport below, during which he talks about the hardcore scene in the Northwest, what “Ol’ Boy” and the new record are all about, and why the cabin in the music video is more important than you’d think.
Out Came The Wolves are an awesome example of modern rock. They’ve got their heavy moments, they’ve got their melodic moments, and they know how to balance them. “96” starts out a little reserved but works its way through a wide variety of sounds and vocal techniques and eventually gives you that hard-hitting aggression you crave. This track is extremely dynamic and the music video has a cool rose-tinted, desert vibe that pairs well with their sometimes bare bones, but always intriguing approach.
The Funeral Portrait recently released a lyric video for their stand alone single “Meanwhile,” and it’s probably the best song they’ve written to date. While fans are still waiting on TFP’s next record (to follow their EP For The Dearly Departed), the appropriately titled single can keep you more than satisfied in the meantime. If this is what a one-off single sounds like, we certainly can’t wait to hear what TFP have in store for us next.
The White Noise are straight killing it right now. They’re freshly signed to Fearless Records (through which they just released their debut EP Aren’t You Glad?) and they already sound like they’ve been at the top of the game for a while. Check out their new music video for “Picture Day,” and if they’re headed your way, go see them on tour with I See Stars, Chunk! No, Captain Chunk!, Get Scared and Palaye Royale!
