LIVE SHOTS: SWORN IN, WILSON, MISS MAY I, WE CAME AS ROMANS

GRAMERCY, NYC – The Road to Bands VS. Food Tour may have been an odd tour title, but named an unforgettable night (April 23rd). Featuring the bands Sworn In, Wilson, Miss May I and We Came as Romans, the line-up was diverse, but oh so satisfying. Starting with Sworn In definitely got the room going wild, especially the crowd killers. Tyler Dennen (Vocalist) fueled the audience as everyone raised their fists and yelled the lyrics with him. When the song “Sunshine” kicked in it got real. Coming down into the crowd, Tyler became surrounded as he continued to scream out the words along with everyone else. Live Shots: Senses Fail, Silverstein, Hundredth, Capsize

Senses Fail
Senses Fail

On a day dubbed “the worst fuckin’ day of the year” by Senses Fail vocalist Buddy Nielsen (a day otherwise known to NYC residents as Santacon), Silverstain, Senses Fail, Hundredth and Capsize played the main room at Webster Hall. Fans stood wall to wall as anthems new and old blasted through the speakers, such as Hundredth‘s “Break Free,” Senses Fail’s “Bite To Break Skin,” and Silverstein’s “My Heroine.” Check out some of the photos from the event below and tag us in some of yours on Facebook/Instagram/Twitter/whatever else if you were there that night!

Defeater Release Music Video for “Unanswered”

defeater_unanswered

From their upcoming record Abandoned comes Defeater’s new music video for “Unanswered.” Black and white live footage of the band and scenic natural shots pair off with this single’s minimal style for a more intimate experience than your standard concert video. A little past the 1-minute mark, the song gets stripped down to the isolated melodic uncleans of vocalist Derek Archambault, proving that sometimes the less sound there is, the more it resonates.

Check out the video below and grab Abandoned when it hits stores August 28th.
