Every Time I Die have released a grainy, lo-fi music video to go with their new single “The Coin Has A Say” and premiered it through…Rolling Stone? Looks like the infamous outlet has been digging a little deeper into the heavier realm lately, so good for them. As far as the song goes, it’s a solid, quick ETID banger that carries a lot of the same sound from their previous record, From Parts Unknown. The upcoming album, Low Teens, is now available for pre-order and has an official release date of September 23rd.
A large portion of Our Last Night’s discography is dedicated to covering pop songs. And for good reason: They’re damn good at it. Their latest cover video is of Twenty One Pilots’ “Stressed Out.” Check out the heavy spin OLN put on this chillin’ beat, and let us know what you think! ‘Cuz our name’s Blurryface…
We’ve featured The Animal In Me on here before for the same reason we’re doing it now: They make some kick ass covers of mainstream hits. Their latest cover is of Adele’s ultra popular “Hello.” Now, while Adele’s original is great in its own right, this heavy take on the song offers some awesome new depth. With The Animal In Me‘s cover, you not only get a full band sound and some backing screams for more edge, but there’s the added layer of having both a female and male vocalist. They take turns with some of the verses, and it adds an intriguing call-and-answer dimension to the break up anthem. Check out their live recording video of “Hello” below and jam out to the rest of their songs while you’re at it!
